The Church is the Body of Christ.
The Church is the people of God.
The Church is not the building.

I thank God for the Church - His body.
I thank God for the building He has provided this local body of believers for worship and fellowship.
And I thank God for His people that this website represents.

What is South Lake Christian Church?

South Lake Christian Church is an independent, non-denominational Christian church, accountable to no one except God.
At South Lake Christian Church, we call ourselves Christians. That's it. But we are not so arrogant to think that we are the only Christians.
At South Lake Chistian Church, we believe the Bible, and the Bible alone, is the inspired Word of God. And we at South Lake Christian Church believe every word of the Bible to be true.
We try to practice this simple principle: Where the Bible speaks, we speak; where the Bible is silent, we are silent.
At South Lake Christian Church, we believe that Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin; that He died on the cross as an atoning sacrifice for our sins; that He bodily arose from the grave; and that He is returning to take those who are His to live with Him for eternity.
At South Lake Christian Church, we believe that salvation is found in no other source, except through faith in and obedience to Jesus Christ.
At South Lake Christian Church, we believe it is every Christian's privilege and responsibility to share their faith by their words and by their lives, so that others might know Jesus as we do.
